Position Summary:

Greenworks is seeking an experienced web designer to join our eCommerce + Digital Commerce team. This role will ideate, create, test, and execute their designs for various channels across the digital landscape. Experience with eCommerce is a must. Using their design and production skills, the web designer will produce and edit wireframes/artwork for web content following established workflows to produce designs supporting established initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset and excellent design and production skills as well as communication, time management, and organizational abilities. A strong portfolio of work shows their designs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce visual design layouts for multiple channels
• Work with leads and creators to understand the creative needs and scope of each project
• Collaborate closely with other cross-functional teams
• Provide feedback to agencies or contractors on visual design as needed
• Produce designs that are compliant with established brand guidelines and style guides
• Prepare and present proposals regarding design, content, features, standards
• Maintain and elevate design standards across our platforms
• Work closely with the digital team in the production and execution of digital content
• Develop best practices for key digital processes
• Think outside of the box to take our digital experiences to the next level

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of web design experience
• eCommerce experience required
• Expert knowledge of industry-standard design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
• Experience in interaction design, usability, and information architecture, mobile development
• Experience working with and contributing to a Design System
• Versed in HTML and CSS
• CMS experience
• Proficient in apps of Adobe Creative Suite for web (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD and Acrobat)
• Proficient in other web tools (code editing, FTP, syncing, formatting, etc)

• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• A strong design portfolio required
• Strong visual design skills
• Solid understanding of good UI and UX design
• Ability to produce excellent prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, flow diagrams, and site maps to effectively communicate design intent
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment where functioning autonomously and collaborating as part of a team are equally important
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Impeccable attention to detail and quality assurance
• Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
