UX/UI Designer - Remote

Designit seeks a UX/UI Designer to join one of our Healthcare clients. This is a fully remote, 3-month W2 contract role.  

We are looking for a designer with excellent visual story-telling skills, strong UI design, and a crisp understanding of UX principles to help create world-class experiences.

*This position is not available for Visa sponsorship or C2C work.*

Would you like to…

• Collaborate with the UX lead to shape interfaces and interactions based on requirements
• Create and annotate design files and assets in Figma for handoff
• Create responsive User Interfaces for expanding product line
• Define strategies for data visualization and document layout in print deliverables
• Contribute novel interactions to existing Design System standards
• Present work to product leadership, development managers, and cross-functional stakeholders

We would like you to have... 

• 6+ years of UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing a variety of digital work including but not limited to mobile apps, websites, and portal interfaces
• Experience with design tools like: Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Axure, and InVision
• Proven skills to create information architecture, navigation maps, wireframes, and Lo/Hi-Fi prototypes along with design specifications
• proficiency in design thinking practices like user research, focus group feedback, lightweight usability testing, rapid prototyping, etc.
• Knowledge of responsive web design and accessibility standards for web
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• HTML5 and CSS3 skills, with cross-browser, cross-platform compatibility; familiarity with basic scripting, functional prototyping; translate a visual design from mockups to front end templates
• Excellent skills with quick design reviews and recommendations, and able to quickly make concept sketches during stakeholder meetings
• Good sense of composition, typography and visual balance
• Good communicator with excellent negotiating and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Solid communication, conceptual thinking, design skills and typography skills
