UX/UI Senior Designer (Open to all Latam)

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our Lima Studio (remote). As a UX/UI Designer, you will work with designers of different backgrounds and disciplines to transform new ideas into tangible products and services that improve people’s lives.

Job duties and responsibilities

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with clients, product managers and/or engineers
• Being familiar with general business needs and KPIs around user needs
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
• Lead and/or participate of brainstorming and co-creation sessions using different tools and workshop dynamics
• Plan and implement new designs for concepts or business ideas
• Optimize existing user interface designs
• Design and implement Usability Tests, A/B tests and experience reviews
• Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
• Develop technical and business requirements needed for great experience
• Deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
• Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements for responsive and multi-channel experiences
• Create prototypes for interface design interaction simulation
• Help conduct user research interviews and tests
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Design different deliverables like UI Kits, Design Systems, mockups, user testing deliverables, etc. 
• Lead or help design client presentations and demos
• Being familiar with technical component needs to deliver clear technical specs for the dev teams
• Lead or help design project hand offs for the development teams
• Lead or help commercial calls along the sales team in order to raise enough information to deliver estimations of time and team needed for different projects
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism

Job requirements and qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a UX-UI Designer Consultant or similar role (Lead/Manager)
• Know and follow the design process: empathize with users, define pain points, ideate solutions, create wireframes and prototypes, test and iterate on designs
• Foundational UX concepts, like design thinking, user-centered design, accessibility and others
• Understand the basics of UX research, like planning research studies, conducting interviews and usability studies, and synthesizing research results
•  UI design portfolio that includes 3 end-to-end projects: a mobile app, a responsive website, and a cross-platform experience
• Bachelor’s degree or studies in a design field and/or
• Micro Learning Certificates of any sources that credit their UX/UI expertise
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Knowledge of Figma, SketchApp, InVision, Marvel, Zeplin and as "a nice to have" the Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
