UX/UI Summer Intern

We're hiring a UX/UI Summer Intern!

The intern program runs from May 15th through August 4th at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.

About this position

We're hiring a creative UX/UI Designer intern passionate about creating, developing, and deploying unique, compelling user experiences across our growing digital media presence.

What you'll do

• You will partner with the Sr. UX/UI designer on wireframing new features and templates for web and mobile assets with the ability to build improvements to existing functionality.
• You will solve user problems and ensure smooth and logical online transitions that promote user goals and retention.
• You will help build prototypes of new features, templates, and apps to demonstrate and test new designs.
• You will define interactive models; user task flows, and UI specifications.
• You will participate in usability studies on existing and new applications.
• You will provide usability design improvement recommendations based on industry best practices, observed user behavior, and site/app analytics.
• You will diagram user experience flows.
• You will communicate scenarios and work closely with other members of our Digital Marketing, Creative, Product, and IT Development groups.

You should have

• You're pursuing a bachelor's degree in Web Design or a related field.
• You have exposure to web design or UI/UX.
• You know of web technologies and their impact on usability/accessibility (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery).
• You know of front-end technologies (jQuery, Bootstrap, responsive design).
• You can collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
• You can anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively and plan accordingly.
• You're adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
