The VBDM will play a crucial role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with priority stakeholders in defined key accounts to deliver commercial success for the Vaccines Business Unit.

Main Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with priority stakeholders in defined key accounts to deliver commercial success for the Vaccines Business Unit
- Reshape the focus of buying decisions towards heavier weighting on clinical differentiation (key messages in Flu and PMED brand plan)
- Understand and identify opportunities to collaborate with Regional NHS Stakeholders (e.g., ICB Immunisations Manager, Buying Group Leads, PCN groups) to increase vaccine uptake
Main Tasks
- Develop, execute, and evaluate strategic territory and top 10% key account plans to achieve sales targets and foster long-term partnerships
- Promote key brand messages (with clinically differentiated focus) for targeted products to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Other Relevant Decision Makers (ORDMs) across defined territory
- Agree on shared objectives with customers to allow long-term partnership in vaccine service improvement and manage the alignment of internal resources to achieve this
Behavioural Success Factors
- Prioritize face-to-face (minimum 50% of calls) and remote (20%) engagements to facilitate robust two-way objective setting, clinical discussion, and promotion of core brand messages
- Take personal accountability for territory success and be prepared to utilize a thoughtful risk-taking approach to achieve commercial success
- Adopt a One Sanofi approach in collaborating as part of a high-performing team to realize and achieve collective success across all Business Unit objectives
About you
- Excellent, demonstrable influencing and communication skills that build effective customer relationships and create broad advocacy for Sanofi's vaccines portfolio
- Strong account planning skills - analytical, data management, 1CI, situational analysis, strategic and tactical planning, KPI setting and monitoring
- Advanced selling and negotiation skills
- Digital proficiency in Omnichannel approach
- Proficiency and integrated adoption of KAI tool for maximizing in-call impact through progressive self-evaluation
Technical Skills / Requirements
- ABPI Level 2 Qualified
- Highly IT competent
- In-depth knowledge of NHS Vaccines landscape and guidelines
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with a focus on vaccines
- Strong understanding of the vaccine market, including key players, technologies, and regulatory landscape
- Proven track record in sales and negotiations
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
