Our valuation professionals are exposed to a wide variety of clients, industries and projects. We have a collaborative work environment, which fosters continuing on the job training. On a daily basis, you will be using your knowledge to analyze and solve challenges that are critical to our clients. Our work may be used by our clients for strategic decision-making, litigation support, public filings, or to support compliance with state and federal laws.
Day-to-day job responsibilities may include:
- Financial model building and financial statement analysis including ratio, common-sized, and trend analyses.
- Development of discount/capitalization rates including buildup method, capital asset pricing model, weighted average cost of capital, and other quantitative approaches.
- Conducting industry research to identify comparable companies and / or products, analyze market trends, etc.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Support the practice by assisting with template development, training, recruiting , etc.
The above responsibilities are used to support our client deliverables, examples of which include:
- A report presenting the fair value or fair market value of the equity of a business and/or individual assets such as trade names, technology, etc. If performed in the context of litigation, expert deposition or courtroom testimony may be required.
- Valuations of debt securities, derivatives, stock options, etc.
- Fair market value studies of various services being provided to life sciences companies, used to support compliance with the Anti-kickback statute and government reporting on drug prices.

Requirements:
- 2-4 years of direct experience with valuation or corporate finance engagements in a consulting environment
- Undergraduate degree required, emphasis in Economics, Finance or Accounting preferred
- Progress towards achievement of ASA, CVA, CPA, and/or CFA designation is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
*Appropriate level for applicant will be determined through the interview process.
*The desired candidate will be located in Atlanta, GA but will consider other locations on a case-by-case basis.
