Description

The Value-Based Programs Professional 2 supports successful value-based provider relationships with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving path-to-value goals. The Value-Based Programs Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Value-Based Programs Professional 2 understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, andrequires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience allowed in lieu of degree
• Demonstrable expertise with data analytics and graphical presentations
• Proficient in MS Office desktop applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrated ability to identify root cause and corrective actions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Financial analysis experience
• Experience managing workload in deadline driven area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data management, data extraction and data reporting
• Basic SQL experience
• Experience in provider contract interpretation, and/or Provider Value based financial analysis
• Healthcare experience (provider or payer)
• Project Management experience
• Accounting or Finance degree desired
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills which may include updating/modifying pivot tables, and updating SQL connected queries

Remote/Work at Home Requirements

• Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
