Job Description

Wentworth Douglass-Hospital, a regional hospital within the Mass General Brigham system, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Vascular Surgeon to join our WHP Vascular Surgery surgical team. The site is an MGB-affiliated community hospital in the rapidly growing NH Seacoast area. This is a full-time position. The role offers a balanced workload, including outpatient care and on-call responsibilities. As a key member of our department, you will work alongside two other experienced vascular surgeons in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including both open and endovascular procedures.
Handle a wide variety of cases such as open and endovascular abdominal interventions, management of arterial and venous disorders of the upper and lower extremities, and dialysis access creation and maintenance.
Manage a patient load of approximately 45 outpatients per week.
Participate in on-call rotations (1/3 call).
Work closely with office-based Medical Assistants (MA) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to deliver patient care.

Qualifications:

Required Education: MD/DO
Board Certification: Vascular Surgery
Experience: 4-5+ years of experience preferred
Skills: Proficiency in open and endovascular vascular surgery techniques
Licensure: Must be licensed to practice in New Hampshire

Facility: Hybrid Operating Room (OR), catheterization lab (Cath Lab), with fully equipped endovascular suites.
