VAT manager Europe

Tax Compliance :

• Review, analyze, and interpret existing and new tax regulations specific to European countries

• Ensure Littelfuse’s compliance with VAT requirements across Europe

• Collaborate with local teams to address country-specific tax challenges

• Ensure Littelfuse’s compliance with E-Invoice requirements across Europe

Tax Optimization :

• Recommend strategies to optimize tax savings within the European context

• Stay informed about changes in European tax laws and adapt Littelfuse’s practices accordingly

• Implement tax-saving measures effectively

Reporting and Accuracy :

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT reports for European legal entities

• Ensure accuracy of tax information in compliance with local regulations

• Manage transaction tax general ledger reconciliation

Driving Tax Standards :

• Introduction of standard VAT processes in European entities

• Collaboration with several functions to ensure consistent tax practices

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with an MBA preferred

• 7+ years of experience in VAT management or related roles

• Deep knowledge of European VAT regulations and compliance

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and experience in using accounting systems such as SAP

• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language and good knowledge of the German language

• CTA qualification is highly desirable but not essential
