VBA Analyst

Remote position (only for professionals based in LATAM)

We are looking for a VBA Analyst to join one of our client's team from the sports merchandising industry. The ideal candidate will spearhead the development and maintenance of data systems and models.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and refine complex financial Excel models, leveraging advanced VBA for forecasting and analysis.

- Maintain the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of financial models and automated reporting systems.

- Manage SQL and MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and security are paramount.

- Implement and maintain MySQL triggers and stored procedures for seamless data processing and analysis.

- Create and manage dynamic reports and dashboards in Power BI, providing actionable insights from complex financial data.

- Lead efforts to integrate financial systems and databases to enhance data connectivity and workflow automation.

- Perform in-depth financial data analysis to identify trends, detect anomalies, and uncover optimization opportunities.

- Act as a technical mentor, offering support and training in VBA, SQL/MySQL, and Power BI to other finance team members.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven expertise in financial modeling and analysis, with strong competencies in VBA and Excel.

- Proficiency in SQL and MySQL, including a deep understanding of database triggers, stored procedures, and scheduling.

- Proficient in crafting data visualizations and reports, especially using Power BI.

- Exceptional skills in analysis, problem-solving, and organizational tasks.

- Strong communication abilities, adept at explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
