Project - the aim you'll have

We are seeking a skilled QA Manual Tester to join our team and collaborate with one of our USA-based clients, a leader in digital transformation. As a QA Manual Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our client’s software applications. Working closely with the development and project management teams, you will be responsible for defining test cases, identifying and replicating bugs, and ensuring that our client delivers a seamless user experience across their applications.

Qualifications

Expectations - the experience you need

• Experience with QA and software testing. 
• Basic understanding of the role/importance of Quality Assurance in software. 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related fields (preferred).
• A clear eye for the details. Ability to see any visual differences between the mocks and the staging site and convey any technical expectations on how a function should work.
• Ability to clearly define the issue and the exception to consider the issue resolved.
• Being organized in the QA process to know when things are intentionally different from the original request.
• A technical understanding of how something is built and the limitations that may be present. (EX> what is third party, and what is native).
• Strong attention to detail. 
• Experience with software testing frameworks & automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Puppeteer (Nice to have).
• Familiarity with basic coding practices & languages (Python, JavaScript, etc).
• Familiarity with test case management & reporting tools. 

What you will do

• QA Testing:
  • Manually test web and mobile applications. 
  • Review regression test cases.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Participate in Agile standups and manage work tickets.
  • Coordinate and ensure all testing activities and deliverables are on time.
  • Ensures all client projects are performance-tested. 
• Process Development:
  • Following existing processes and document new processes. 
  • Integrate industry standards and best practices to test strategies.
  • Research new technologies that could be used to improve our testing efficiency.
• Project Management: 
  • Documentation support for projects.
  • Support PMs with QA needs.
  • Customer Support: 
  • Monitor customer support needs and manage support tickets.
  • Communicate with customers as needed.
  • Document instructions for customers on technical issues.
