About The Role
As a next generation financial services company, Beyond Finance helps consumers save money, get control of their finances, and borrow responsibly. Beyond’s Compliance Department supports these objectives by monitoring for compliance with applicable state and federal laws. As a Vendor Compliance Analyst, you are a key player in our team’s mission to provide actionable intelligence to business stakeholders so that together we can (1) support consumers' understanding of our products and services, and (2) achieve strategic business priorities, within the highly regulated consumer finance industry. In this role, you will support vendor risk compliance throughout the vendor lifecycle, including initial due diligence and onboarding, periodic review and risk assessment, and offboarding.Â
Key Responsibilities:
At a high level, a Vendor Compliance Analyst at Beyond supports the Third-Party Risk Management Program within the Compliance Management System (“CMS”). On a day-to-day basis, this involves:
- Collecting required due diligence, facilitating stakeholder review of due diligence, and obtaining stakeholder approvals for vendor onboarding;
- Performing vendor risk assessment and on-going oversight reviews according to policies and procedures;
- Identify and addressing areas of vendor non-compliance that could potentially impact business results or enterprise risk;
- Assigning risk score and recommending risk mitigation controls to bring vendor within acceptable risk range;
- Coordinate projects and change management among compliance, legal, business stakeholders and vendors;
- Provide reporting on third-party vendor risk management program metrics to business and legal stakeholders; and
- Performing additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Education and Experience:
- 2-4 years of relevant vendor management experience required
- Consumer lending, fintech background preferred
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and keen attention to detail
- Prior third party vendor management platform experience preferred (OneTrust or other platform)
- Experience with Google office platform, Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
