The Role
We are continuing to expand our operational presence across basketball teams in the United States and soccer clubs both in the US and abroad. In order to support installations across these properties, we are seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented Venue Operations Specialist to join our team.. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and a familiarity working in live production or sporting arenas.
 
 
What You’ll Do:
● Assist in managing installation and maintenance projects across a variety of venues
● Track installation progress and ensure delivery of working system by determined deadlines
● Ability to professionally interface and manage communication with venue personnel, IT professionals and contractors
● Manage contractor quotes, purchase orders and invoices
● Coordinate scheduling of contractors, venue and internal staff
● Travel domestically and internationally
● Assist with inventory management, reporting, including shipment preparation and coordination
● Troubleshoot and resolve order issues and delays
● Capacity to monitor system health and perform basic diagnostics
 
 
 
What You Have:

● Understanding of venue operations and layouts through experience working in sporting arenas/venues
● Familiarity with basic hardware requirements for camera based systems
● Direct experience and understanding of Linux
● Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (fluctuates by time of year)
● Ability to travel internationally and have a valid passport
● Availability to work non-traditional hours to support and troubleshoot installations
● Flexibility and mindset to operate in a unique and fast-paced environment
● People management and negotiation skills
● Ability to manage multiple large scale projects at a time
● Capability to set realistic expectations and operate in a lean startup environment
● Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and follow up abilities
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Familiarity with shipping and logistics
