About the Team
We are building a new Uber Ads division to accelerate the next phase of our global advertising business. Our vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. The Uber Ads platform will enable brands to reach, engage and convert our highly engaged user base.
About the Role
As a Vertical Strategy Lead, you are responsible for the global go-to-market strategy for the Enterprise Ad Sales vertical with the goal of driving sustainable revenue growth. You'll partner closely with the Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Ops to build and execute your strategy. You will be seen as an indispensable thought partner with our sales teams, cross functional leaders and with our top advertising partners. This role will be both internally and externally focused as you will partner with our sales team on strategic initiatives with our top Enterprise partners.
What You'll Do
• Develop and execute the global go-to-market Enterprise Ads strategy • Partner with Uber Ads Marketing to develop scalable sales narratives and collateral• Drive sales enablement in partnership with Global Sales leadership• Identify product needs by gathering voice of the customer feedback from Global Sales teams and partners. Communicate these needs to Product Ops and Product Management during planning cycles.• Create strategic test and learn opportunities with top partners • Implement a consistent global communication cadence with regional teams to help inform our global Enterprise Ads strategy
Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional work experience• Proven track record in Enterprise Program Management or Account Management • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with an advertising or ad-tech product suite• Be customer obsessed (users and merchants) and be passionate about building great experiences for Uber users all over the world.• Passionate about building new businesses and willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.• Be able to work cross functionally with many other roles and stakeholders in the company• Exceptional communication skills, both within your team and with leadership and partners• Entrepreneurial spirit and a thirst for learning
