Position TL:DR

This position allows you to showcase your ability to create innovative Shaders in Unity while crafting inspiring real-time VFX for games and NFTs. It is a part of the Art team and reports up to the Art Director ultimately, but temporarily the Director of Production.

Who you are

• Uses an arsenal of creative tools to find smart solutions that breathe life into games and NFTs
• Comfortable with both the aesthetic craft of VFX and the technical implementation
• Solid understanding of Color Theory especially as it applies to games

What you'll be doing

• Build VFX in Unity
• Creating ancillary textures and meshes for VFX
• Developing shaders using the Unity Shader graph and then working with Graphics engineers to create performant versions
• Integrate VFX into NFTs and games

Requirements

• 10 years developing VFX in real-time engines
• Strong Unity skills
• Competent modeling and texture skills
• Good sense of motion
• Great understanding of color theory
• Good understanding of shader graphs

Salary Range

$150,000-$175,000
