This is a unique opportunity designed for early career professionals to grow into their VFX career trajectory. Under the guidance of our accomplished Lead VFX Artist and Art Director, you'll have the chance to develop your skills while making valuable contributions to our exciting game.

🎮 Your Role

• Create, animate, and refine real-time VFX, adding that magical touch to "Legendary Hero: Unchained."
• Craft unique and custom assets that enrich the game's visual experience.
• Design a diverse range of effects, from character and combat effects to UI interaction effects and animations.
• Engage with the art team from the inception of ideas, adding your own creative input and carrying it through to completion.
• Partner closely with the art and engineering teams, identifying any issues and suggesting solutions to deliver a stellar gaming experience.

🧩 Your Credentials

• Professional experience working on at least one mobile game title in the VFX.

• Proficiency with Unity Engine, particularly in creating particle systems and integrating VFX.
• Solid understanding of VFX and animation.
• Capability to create distinctive sprites for VFX animation.
• Good communication skills to facilitate smooth interaction between engineers, designers, and artists.
• Self-driven, detail-focused, and efficient in managing time and priorities.
• Eagerness to learn from teammates, enhance performance, and broaden knowledge across the spectrum of game development.
• Awareness of mobile optimization and technical constraints.

⭐ Brownie Points

• Some experience or knowledge in creating shaders within Unity.
• Familiarity with version control software like Git.
• Some experience with After Effects.
• Some exposure to Spine animations.
• An interest in blockchain technology and web3 projects is always welcomed.

Benefits

Salary Range: $65,000 to 95,000

The suggested salary bracket is designed specifically for this open position within the United States. It may not be suitable for other roles or locations. The exact pay will be tailored to factors like the hired individual's experience, their job performance, and the job's location. There is also the possibility for additional bonus pay, but this isn't guaranteed.
