The successful candidate will operate independently while fostering cross-functional collaboration, translating complex data into actionable insights, and contributing to the strategic vision of the organization.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as the actuarial subject matter expert in client meetings, consultant engagements, industry conferences, and public speaking opportunities
  • Lead the development of health economic analyses, outcomes research, and presentation materials for external stakeholders and potential publications
  • Analyze large healthcare datasets, including medical and pharmacy claims, to quantify clinical and financial impact
  • Design and manage performance guarantees, including reserving strategies and internal education for commercial teams
  • Support value-based contracting, specialty incentive programs, and new product launches through actuarial modeling and financial analysis
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on strategic planning, evidence development, and market expansion initiatives
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory developments relevant to actuarial and health economic analysis

  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of actuarial experience in healthcare organizations, health plans, or related services
    • Associate (ASA) or Fellow (FSA) of the Society of Actuaries
    • Experience analyzing healthcare datasets, including medical claims, pharmacy claims, and population health data
    • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills for executive and external audiences
    • Demonstrated expertise in health economic analyses, actuarial models, and outcomes research for commercial healthcare products
    • Understanding of Medicare Advantage Star Ratings, healthcare quality metrics, and audit processes
    • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, clinical, and data teams
    • Capacity to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities
    • Ability to travel domestically up to 20–30%

    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary range: $290,000–$310,000 USD, depending on experience and location
      • Eligibility for equity or bonus programs as part of total compensation
      • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans
      • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave policies
      • Professional development opportunities in a high-growth, mission-driven organization
      • Collaborative, inclusive, and supportive work culture
      • Opportunities to influence strategic decision-making and shape the future of preventive healthcare solutions
