As our Vice President, Demand Generation, you'll collaborate with senior leaders across our organization to deliver against our lead, demo and opportunity goals for our Bonterra business units, segments and verticals. Reporting to the CMO, you will manage a team responsible for demand creation across all digital channels. You will also partner closely with leaders in Marketing, as well as in our Sales and Revenue Operations teams, to ensure alignment across our holistic GTM strategy. Successful candidates have strong experience owning complex change management initiatives, work well in a matrixed environment and have excellent communication, analytical and organization skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and activate an integrated demand generation strategy in alignment our GTM strategy and BU, segment and vertical goals on an annual and quarterly basis
- Develop and lead a team of experienced demand generation professionals responsible for demand generation programs across all channels
- Partner closely with segment marketing, content marketing and sales to ensure alignment on strategy, resources, messaging, and KPIs
- Build and manage best-in-class demand gen programs and optimization of Lead to Opportunity funnel
- Partner closely with our BDR and Sales organizations to ensure effective holistic strategies across our GTM motion, as well as appropriate hand-offs and collaboration with each team
- Build quarterly lead, demo and opportunity forecasts against planned spend and aligned to business goals
- Report on demand generation performance and optimization actions through weekly updates and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Manage to an optimal LTV:CAC Ratio, working with GTM leaders to ensure cost per acquisition and lead KPI targets are within goals
- Partner with our Analytics team to develop and track comprehensive metrics reports, attribution modeling and tracking, and advise on the effectiveness and future direction of our demand generation campaigns and spending
- Utilize and enhance all demand gen channels including SEM, SEO, peer review sites, email, content syndication, ABM campaigns, website, etc.
- Manage the bonterratech.com digital experience, ensuring a best-in-class site representing the full Bonterra portfolio and that delivers on traffic, conversion and CX goals
- Partner with Revenue Operations on key metrics, including marketing performance measurement, process definition, and marketing systems and data
- Provide coaching and development to team members on effective demand gen strategies and tactics
- Manage all external agencies and vendors; partner with external parties to develop strong working relationships that deliver on Bonterra's goals; partner with Procurement, Finance and Legal to maintain contracting and relationships with vendors.
- Define, manage and report on program budgets and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree
- 15+ years of proven success record of leading and scaling the demand generation function in a B2B SaaS environment within a midsize or larger organization
- Strong passion for working in the social good space
- Proven track record working with Sales teams to improve conversion outcomes across the funnel
- Strong management skills with a proven ability to both grow and mentor a team
- Experience managing and optimizing a multi-million dollar annual budget
- Experience using SFDC, Marketo, web analytics and other adtech and martech to manage outcomes
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency and adaptability; a bias for action
- Ability to travel to Bonterra offices and events as necessary
