Job Summary:

We are seeking a VP, Finance Operations to join our Finance  team at Real. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the Group Controller to provide strategic and operational leadership and drive all activities related to accounting processes, procedures and systems, external and management reporting, with best-in-class internal control practices and oversight. . This role requires assisting in all accounting matters, including ad hoc projects and requests, and working cross-functionally to contribute to business transformation and operational objectives. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the data integrity and accuracy in all financial records and reports for multiple entities of varying sizes, meeting internal and external audit requirements.

• Identify financial and operational risks and implement improvements to processes and controls. Collaborate closely with the Group Controller to ensure the implementation of established controls and processes.

• Oversees transactional accounting, vendor management, domestic and international tax, and Treasury.

• Lead the continued development and implementation of global accounting operations and core systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency, ensuring all financial systems are functioning properly and have appropriate internal controls and system controls in place. 

• Provide ongoing evaluation of current capabilities; identify gaps, create and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Manage and oversee domestic and international tax compliance across all subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payments.

• Support FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses

• Provides leadership and empowers team members to succeed and develop 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• 15+ years of progressive experience leading the accounting function in a global publicly traded company

• BA/BS degree and CPA

• Big 4 public accounting experience (senior manager level) preferred.

• Strong working knowledge in a broad range of operational accounting, finance, and technology concepts, practices, and procedures.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, SOX compliance, and reporting practices

• Extensive knowledge of professional accounting software

• Experienced in strategic management and leadership across company functions

• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a fast-paced environment. Proven track-record of building and developing a high performing team

• Strong understanding of tax matters and treasury functions for a complex, multi-entity global organization

Education and Experience:

• BA/BS degree and CPA

• 15+ years of experience
