We are seeking a Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our team.
Job Summary
The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis leads the analysis and reporting function for the company. Specific responsibilities include performing analysis of financial results versus an approved budget/forecast, creating and curating forward looking financial models, as well as summarizing and presenting actual and forecasted financial information to management for tactical and strategic decision-making. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining reliable BI/data sources. This person will be familiar with and have experience implementing technology to automate reporting and analysis wherever practical. Additionally, this person will have a thorough understanding of the business activities of each function in the company and how they interrelate.
The Vice President is a business partner to senior management and able to provide sound recommendations and alternatives while understanding the financial implications. This person also provides leadership to and manages a team of finance professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for business modeling, providing recommendations and alternatives to senior management
• Provide high level analysis and reporting to the company
• Drive and guide the preparation and presentation of the annual operating plan (budget) for the company
• Prepare and update monthly rolling forecasts and variance analyses summaries for senior management and Board of Directors review
• Prepare and present capital spending report for each business unit and for the company to ensure spending is within budget guidelines
• Perform a periodic review of information in the forecasting model as well as provide guidance and develop best practices in using/updating the business models
• Ensure the company adheres to the budgetary guidelines approved by senior management and is assisting the company to achieve its revenue goals
• Identifies and gathers pertinent business performance data (KPIs) as well as market-based data and provides analysis on the data to help improve the company's business performance
• Provide benchmarking data in assisting management with strategic decisions
• Analyze price performance: Assess the performance of Imprivata's pricing strategies. Report out on the impact of pricing initiatives and recommend changes to improve financial performance.
• Support strategic pricing initiatives: Define pricing and packaging strategies for new and existing products to maximize revenue and subscriptions
• Provide required reporting and periodic business updates to Lenders and Rating Agencies
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business , Accounting or Finance. An MBA and/or a CPA is preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years in high tech corporate environment, preferably in operational or business unit finance department
• Experience as an FP&A manager with a Private Equity owned company
• Experience with a Software as a Service (SaaS) company strongly preferred
• Experience with major reporting tool such as Hyperion, Great Plains, Oracle as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including an expert use of Excel
• Experience in managing teams
• A strong understanding of Business Intelligence/Analytics, financial modeling and analysis
• Self- starter, motivated team player and a good coach to others
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent analytical and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This position offers a salary range of $310,000 to $350,000 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
