Vice President | Head of Healthcare
Job Description

Evolv's newly defined Healthcare vertical will be at the forefront of transforming the look, feel, and experience of hospital security. We are looking for an executive to assume full global responsibility for sales, service, retention, and the long-term success of Evolv’s rapidly expanding base of Healthcare customers.
Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
- In the first 30 days, you will:
- Develop a deep understanding of our company, our technology, and our people
- Attend 3 Installations and deployments
- Complete all 30-day onboarding activities
- Within 3 months, you will:
- Have a clear understanding of our mission, technology, and Go to Market (GTM) strategy
- Have joined at least three different customer-facing teams in the field to see how our product works and is supported
- Understand how our products work within the Healthcare industry - Who are the key decision makers? What are the main drivers? What does the sales cycle look like for large healthcare networks, and how should Evolv position itself?
- Be able to clearly articulate the product market fit of our products, specifically within the context of healthcare/hospitals to form a GTM strategy to be presented to the executive team.
- By the end of your first year, you will:
- Have grown Evolv’s healthcare footprint by 200% (from $5M to $15M in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR))
- Pipeline will have grown to 4+ times the expected revenue for 2024 in Healthcare
- Have hired two business development managers to focus on helping build out the healthcare vertical
- Organized a marketing strategy with the CMO and Marketing team specific to the Healthcare industry
- Identified lessons learned and devised a proposal to modify the strategy for 2024 across sales, marketing, PR, installation, and deployment.
- Thought leadership strategy is implemented via 3 planned Healthcare specific events/keynote speaking opportunities.
- Have completed a minimum of 60 hours of Evolv and Professionally specific training both on the job and via our Learning Management System
- Built relationships across the entire customer-facing team
- Define and execute the Healthcare vertical market strategy to achieve ARR targets and consistent YOY growth
- Develop new approaches to increase customer and partner awareness
- Always be bench building: as the Head of Healthcare, you will play an integral role in hiring, developing, coaching, and retaining our sales team
- Drive a positive and transformative mindset across the sales team
- Act as Evolv’s thought leader and Subject Matter Expert in Healthcare, building a community of healthcare customers who view Evolv as the leader in advanced weapons screening
- Define and develop a robust set of metrics that will enable Evolv’s senior leadership team to understand how we’re performing in the healthcare vertical.
- Develop a rhythm and mechanism for collecting, distilling, and disseminating customer and industry trends/feedback so that it can be used to inform R&D, Engineering, and future product and service developments
- Represent Evolv at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows

- You will be joining the Revenue team, and report directly to Evolv’s Chief Revenue Officer.
