Vice President High Voltage Controller - Americas

General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Vice President High Voltage Controller - Americas for it's Mt Pleasant, PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

• VP Controller is a senior executive who manages a company's financial health and accounting activities for PGHV Hub NAM SAM:
• Accounting: Oversees accounting activities, including the financial close process, and ensures that ledgers are accurate
• Financial reporting: Produces financial statements and reports to guide decision-making
• Budgeting: Assists with or creates the budget, including incorporating historical data
• Compliance: Ensures compliance with local law, tax provisions, and relevant industry and financial regulations
• Record-keeping: Maintains and analyzes financial statements, payroll, and budgets
• Internal controls: Creates internal policies and spend controls to prevent fraud
• Financial strategy: Develops financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting
• Cost savings: Identifies efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions
• Leadership: Mentors and manages the accounting and financial staff
• Financial controllers typically have a degree in accounting or finance and may have certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Chartered Accountant (CA). They should have an excellent grasp of arithmetic and basic algebra and be able to explain complex financial information to those without accounting backgrounds.

• Candidate should have no less than 12 to 15 years of progressive financial experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in finance or similarly related filed with an advanced degree preferred.
