Location: Remote with regular travel as needed
Role Description: Serving as a key member of the Human Resources leadership team, this position is responsible for developing and implementing innovative people & culture strategies in support of the organization's business objectives and goals . As a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executives, this position will provide guidance and strategic HR consultation on a wide range of people-related issues while fostering an extraordinary employee experience and inclusive work environment. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of People, this position will play a critical role in the evolution of the people function, paving the way for the future of Human Resources at Oak Street Health.
Core Responsibilities:
- In a matrixed reporting structure, lead the HR Business Partner function, emphasizing team development and optimization in support of future business plans and growth.
- In conjunction with the SVP, People, responsible for the development and deployment of the Human Resources strategic plan.
- Partner with HR centers of expertise to design and deliver programs that strengthen the capabilities and skills of current and future leaders while reinforcing our culture.
- Collaborate with peers and subject-matter experts to proactively champion HR solutions and act as a problem-solving partner to the business.
- Apply operational excellence to ensure effective and timely delivery of people programs at scale.
- Leverage HR data and analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes related to talent, engagement, organizational effectiveness, culture-building efforts, and strategic workforce planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business, or related field required; Master's Degree preferred; experience in healthcare preferred.
- A minimum requirement of 12 years of Human Resources experience with 8 years of Human Resources strategic planning, organizational development, and people leadership.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing talent strategies to support high-growth organizations and transformation initiatives, including culture-building efforts.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading and supporting organizational change management initiatives.
- Ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to align people strategies with organizational goals.
- Experience working closely with senior executives and driving HR initiatives at the leadership level.
- Ability to support, develop, mentor, and motivate team members.
- An operational mindset for flawless execution.
- Strong thought leadership in people strategies and industry best practices.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives related to organizational growth and transformation, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Ability to analyze HR data and develop data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
