Vice President of Engineering

Reporting into Vise’s Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer, our Vice President of Engineering will partner closely with the Co-Founders, Product, Investment Strategy, Quantitative Engineering, and other executive functions to expand Vise’s current product offering and develop new products. This growth-minded leader will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and solving our most critical technical challenges and opportunities. As the leader of our Engineering organization, this person will be responsible for hiring and retaining top engineering talent, implementing scalable internal processes, and fostering an inclusive, performance oriented culture.

What you will own

• Lead the Engineering organization and manage, coach, and support a team of engineers and team leads/managers.
• Lead with a customer first orientation for our products and an empathetic people focused direction for our teams.
• Set, manage and drive the key technology initiatives necessary to ensure alignment among goals, timelines, cost, and quality
• Thoughtfully scale the engineering organization by hiring and retaining exceptional talent and designing organizations, systems, and tools.
• Work closely with Product, Design, Investment Strategy and GTM leadership on strategic planning, product development, and execution.
• Continuously raise the bar by hiring exceptional talent for the team and creating a culture that is collaborative and inclusive.
