Vice President of Finance

EverQuote (Nasdaq: EVER) operates the largest online marketplace for insurance shopping in the United States. As the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function of our organization. You will provide strategic financial guidance to our senior management team and play a key role in driving business decisions that support our overall growth and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts for the organization's short-term and long-term financial planning needs
• Provide analysis and insights on financial performance, trends, and variances to help drive informed decision-making across the organization
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial support for strategic initiatives, business planning, and budgeting processes
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads and other key stakeholders
• Develop and maintain financial reporting and analysis tools to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to management and other stakeholders
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and finance-related internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive efficiency within the FP&A function
• Manage and mentor finance team to ensure they are meeting their goals and objectives
• Collaborate with Company leadership on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a track record of driving financial performance in a dynamic business environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information to a non-financial audience
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a team of financial analysts
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools, ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite, Planful), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Snowflake and Tableau)
• Strong understanding of financial and planning concepts as well as a working knowledge of accounting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
