AllCampus is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization in the higher education services sector. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) to join our team and play a key role in driving our financial strategy and growth.
The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) is a critical member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the company. This role involves providing financial leadership and support to ensure the achievement of our short-term and long-term business objectives.

The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) is a critical member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing the financial operations and contributing to the strategic financial planning of the company. This role involves providing financial leadership and support to ensure the achievement of our short-term and long-term business objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Financial Leadership: Act as the head of the finance department, providing strategic financial guidance to the senior executive leadership team.
- Financial Performance Evaluation: Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization in relation to its long term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, balanced against its short term cash needs.
- Strategic Planning: Provide insights and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth plans based on financial analysis.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Manage financial planning and analysis, including the preparation of monthly financial budgeting reports and the review and analysis of monthly financial results.
- Business Partner: Partner with functional leaders to understand their operations and growth needs and provide creative solutions to financially support those needs
- Financial Operations: Supervise the accounting, general ledger, and financial operations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial and management reporting data.
- Accounting Policies: Work with the Accounting Manager on accounting policies and reports outlining the company's financial position, income, expenses, and earnings.
- Month-end Close: Oversee the management of the month-end close process. Identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in procedures.
- Banking and Strategic Alliances: Manage the company's banking relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, including work allocation, systems training, performance evaluations, and fostering an effective team dynamic.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
- This position directly supervises the Accounting Manager, AVP of Financial Planning and Analysis.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE an equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 10+ of progressive experience in accounting and finance functions. Experience within the education services industry and understanding the nuances of educational finance, including revenue recognition, budgeting, and compliance, is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial software.
- Strong financial forecasting and modeling skills.
- Experience partnering with an executive team.
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
