Responsibilities:
The Vice President of Global Solutions works with the Global Solutions team to research, collect, organize, and maintain legal, regulatory, cultural, and financial information regarding fertility care worldwide. In addition, the Global Solutions Team is responsible for validating partner providers and clinics to ensure that our members have access to care that follows medical best practices with regard to fertility care. The Vice President of Global Solutions also works with other cross-functional leaders at the company. Specific duties include:
1. Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the team through the development of departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) in alignment with company OKRs;
2. Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to execute defined objectives;
3. Leverage global fertility benefits knowledge to provide guidance for Global Solutions projects;
4. Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in management and global fertility care
5. Provide thought leadership/expertise to internal and external stakeholders;
6. Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, practices, standards, and systems to improve and streamline organizational efficiency;
7. Be responsible for the overall staffing strategy, training, and development of the team;
8. Report on key performance metrics to senior management; and
9. Manage a growing team of individual contributors and managers.
Education and Experience Requirements:Â
The employer requires the candidate to have at least a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field.
Candidate must also have the following:
- Demonstrated ability leading teams and managing and scaling operations with an organization in the US healthcare system gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication ability within healthcare management gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
- Demonstrated familiarity with at least one non-US healthcare system, including at least Canada, the United Kingdom, or Japan, gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading and managing complex projects of international scope requiring cross-functional input gained through at least two (2) years of work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of fertility benefits administration gained through at least two (2)years of work experience.
All years of experience may be gained concurrently.
Telecommuting is available.Â
Travel required up to 4 times per year for domestic team offsite meetings.
