Imagen enables Primary Care providers to become technology-enabled multispecialty practices, powering a successful transition from fee-for-service to value-based care. Imagen’s comprehensive platform includes in-office diagnostic testing, diagnostic interpretations powered by proprietary FDA-cleared machine learning software, and virtual specialist consults. Imagen’s team includes over 100 clinical, technical and business personnel. Imagen’s software has received first-of-its-kind FDA clearances, and its research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals. Imagen has raised $135 million in capital from investors such as Google Ventures, Casdin Capital, and Threshold Ventures. Imagen was founded in 2015 and is based in New York City.
Imagen is hiring a talented VP of Growth who will lead the development of new logo partnerships with the Top 100 value-based primary care provider (PCP groups across the U.S.). This role is directly accountable for creating and executing upon a strategy to grow Imagen’s business in an assigned geographic territory. You will own the sales process end-to-end with prospects, leveraging a team of resources assigned to your territory such as lead generation specialists, sales engineers, and account managers to create opportunities, close deals, and successfully transition them into implementation.Â
The ideal candidate has a track record selling complex healthcare service solutions to primary care practices, has an extensive knowledge of value-based care contracting, is hungry to win deals and builds lasting relationships with clients across the country. As an early stage business, you will play a key role in defining and shaping go to market strategy and defining/building the tools necessary to scale up sales to these key targets. This role requires travel up to 50% of the time.Â
Responsibilities:
- Successfully acquire new Primary Care customers through a consultative sales process.Â
- Achieve annual growth objectives for your territoryÂ
- Directly sell, negotiate and close deals with prospective customers
- Define and execute a strategy prioritizing the outreach and messaging to prospective customers
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of a team of assigned resources in your territory such as lead generation specialists driving outreach to cold/warm prospects, sales engineers shaping the details and mechanics of specific prospect implementations, and account managers overseeing existing accounts in your territory to identify upsell opportunities. Â
- As necessary, define, build and iterate upon the materials, tools, scripts, playbooks and other resources that will enable you to successfully execute a growth strategy in your assigned territory
- Become an expert on the business models of Imagen and its customers, positioning you as a strong consultative sales leader to our prospective customers.Â
Qualifications OR Requirements:
- Track record of routinely achieving top 10% in your field sales cohorts; consistent President’s Club (or equivalent) member
- Prior success in developing and executing strategies to sell into complex healthcare environments that require a deep knowledge of your product and industry to successfully serve in a consultative capacity.Â
- Extensive knowledge of value-based primary care arrangements and how successful practices administer and manage them
- Strong process orientation - you can successfully bring together and manage the team necessary to drive a sale to completion.Â
- You take ownership in the success you’ve created and the opportunities you missed. You constantly strive to get better at your craft by analyzing both the wins and the losses.
- Passionate and skilled in generating net-new sales
- Prior experience overseeing and leveraging 1 or more sales-adjacent resources such as business development representatives, sales assistants, sales engineers, account specialists, etc.
- At least 5+ years of healthcare experience, including at least 3 years of outside sales experience. Experience selling in a startup or early stage healthcare technology or services business strongly preferred.
- Prior knowledge of Primary Care Practices and their challenges and opportunities strongly preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Our headquarters are based in New York, NY and this job is conducted remotely.Â
The base salary range for this position is $200,000-250,000, plus equity, commission, and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
