Role Overview

The Vice President of Solutions is a newly created role at Stylitics and will be responsible for our Solutions Suite, supporting our client implementations, and leading our Solutions org. Supported by the Chief Technology Officer, this key leadership role will manage a critical piece in our customer and partner integrations as we roll out solution recommendations and delivery. 

This role will have four primary teams reporting into it: Client Integrations, Partnership Solutions, Activations, and Solutions Consulting. As this is a newly created role, this individual will drive the setup and structure of these four teams. The VP, Solutions will provide direction, support, organization, and coaching to the Solutions team members to ensure the quality, delivery, and productivity of our objectives as well as the health and development of those teams. 

This is a key role as we expand this area of the business to meet the growing client demand to expand outfitting and bundling content. The VP, Solutions will partner closely with our Sales, Operations, Product, Client Success, and Engineering teams. This individual needs to be able to understand solution opportunities, integrations and partnership complexities, and our go-to-market and expansion strategies so they can have a real, organizational impact for partners, clients, and the company as a whole. 

Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Organize and manage an effective Solutions team, across Client Integrations, Partnership Solutions, Activations, and Solutions Consulting
  • Manage and train new employees in these key areas to ensure their success and growth as team members
  • Lead team hiring and role definition, as needed
  • Guide career development, mentorship, and coaching for Solutions team members

Area Expertise

  • Expert understanding of how to drive successful client and partner solutions
  • Mastery of project management and delivery best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to guide solutions recommendations end-to-end, including during pre-sale
  • Strong understanding of product feed integration methodologies
  • Thorough knowledge of our product offerings, APIs, and client use cases
  • Mastery of client and partnership landscape and industry needs 
  • Expert in specific technologies used in each category (website, mobile, app, email, social) 

Strategic Ownership

  • Personally responsible for a limited number of priority client or partner programs at key points
  • Able to make recommendations for best practices regarding our Solutions Suite
  • Build out use cases & best practices for full Solutions Suite
  • Monitor and analyze utilization metrics across all solutions and make product enhancement recommendations to increase adoption
  • Oversee project management of technical onboardings, delivery, and implementation recommendations

Process Ownership

  • Triage of incoming client requests
  • Provide support and structure to the overall implementation ticketing process
  • Meaningfully improve the solutions consultation and delivery process
  • Drive forward the quality and efficiency of the Solutions org 
  • Ensure solution documentation is impactful and kept up-to-date with developments
  • Document client feedback and enhancement requests relating to Solutions Suite

Internal Strategic Partnership

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define Solutions Suites and development needs
  • Assist the Product team in solutions documentation and business requirements
  • Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to develop new solution opportunities, per client and partner needs
  • Maintain an excellent collaboration with internal and external key stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of experience in solutions leadership within a relevant industry
  • Have an analytical and problem solving mindset
  • Impactful leader with strong managerial and career development skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Technical depth to know what is possible now and what is potentially coming
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure. Excellent follow-through
