The Role

As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Striveworks you’ll be challenged—and trusted—on day one to lead and develop methods to increase customer value and revenue through the development of relationships, markets and customers. You will be trusted, empowered and resourced to build your strategy, foster your relationships, and manage the opportunities you identify to grow the business through channel, reseller and joint sales opportunities.  You are empowered with company resources and relationships through existing account opportunities, partnerships, co-selling agreements, contract vehicles and teaming agreements.  You will be an integral part of the senior leadership team to develop strategic growth and go-to-market plans, create new revenue opportunities, and identify new requirements. Additionally, you will be sought out for expertise in synthesizing customer and partner requirements, structuring partnership deals, and recommending new products and services in alignment with company strategic growth plans. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supports the development and implementation of the Striveworks partnership strategy as a member of the Striveworks corporate revenue team
  • Builds relationships with potential strategic partners, develops and communicates plans for mutually beneficial business opportunities, and motivates potential partners to engage in strategic partnerships
  • Leads Striveworks and partner teams to outline goals, structures and requirements for execution of strategic partnerships and reseller and teaming agreements
  • Prepares and delivers compelling communication for Striveworks and partner executive teams to manage and advance partnerships
  • Develop new and existing co-sell, channel and strategic partnerships in support of corporate revenue OKRs and goals

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000-200,000/year. This is a variable compensation position with an aggressive cash commission structure. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, commission-based earnings, annual performance-based equity grants, and a lucrative yearly cash bonus. 

This position offers a fully remote work environment, or you can work hybrid/onsite at our office in northwest Austin, TX.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 10-15 years of experience in strategic partnership, business development, strategy development, or strategic sales and account management roles
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing relationships with business partners
  • Experience in the federal government contracting industry
  • Ability to articulate a vision and build consensus among a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) including to CEO and Board level audiences
