About the Role
Agero’s network of curated Service Providers is a critical strategic asset for the business, delivering the service and experience we commit to providing for our clients’ customers. As our diverse Lines of Business continue to grow, adapting that network to support that growth will be critical. The Vice President, Operations Strategy is the primary strategic partner to our Chief Operations Officer, a core member of our Operations Leadership Team, and responsible for helping the leadership team shape and execute a Network Strategy that will support Agero’s overall growth strategy. You will lead cross-functional teams and partner with stakeholders across the business to translate data into insights and actionable growth opportunities; to provide complex and detail-oriented financial, business, and data analysis to inform and strengthen the strategic rationale shaping key decisions; and to support our overall go-to-market (GTM) strategy development and support in-market hypothesis testing of emerging growth opportunities.
Key Outcomes
- Learn and absorb the Agero business
- Build critical relationships across the business characterized by partnership and influence
- With an understanding of the Agero business and existing process, develop a multi-year network operations roadmap/strategy and support implementation of that strategy
- Support Agero’s overall GTM strategy development and execution by providing strategic network expertise and insight
- Be the subject matter expert on relevant market intelligence
- Partner with LOB leaders and product marketing team to integrate market feedback into go-to-market strategies to ensure products satisfy customer/client needs and wants
- Monitor, organize, and report relevant industry news and current events to support market and competitive intelligence and assessment of new threats and opportunities arising in the marketplace.
- Interface with other groups within Agero to collect and compile information in support of strategy development.
- Develop business cases for new growth opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to test and vet assumptions
- Create quantitative analyses, including the development of complex financial models, to evaluate and implement strategic options.
- Support the due diligence analysis of potential M&A and partnership targets.
- Develop and present findings and recommendations to Senior Leaders.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate and MBA required for consideration
- 7-10 years of consulting experience; subject matter expert on asset-based 3rd party networks.
- Superior analytical and research capabilities
- Relationship and influencing focused style
- Extensive track record of strategy and/or strategic planning
- Prior experience with developing/enhancing digital capabilities
- Strong financial acumen
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
