Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and document web applications to accomplish the business goals.
• Define software architecture to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity and potential risks for successful implementation.
• Participate in planning and estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform the proof of concept as necessary to implement new ideas.
• Assist with resolving technical complexities involved in the work.
• Participate in the release activities and supporting the application and its users in different environments.
• Design innovative solutions for handling data intensive low latency application.
• Analyze and visualize the data using SQL and Tableau and extract large volumes of data by creating ETL workflows.
• Assess performance improvements, memory optimizations as well as performance profiling to identify bottlenecks and memory leaks of application.
• Perform technical and functional analysis using knowledge of credit, operational and market risk to design and implement the needs of the business users into a working software solution.
• Develop highly scalable and continuously available software application using Java, Spring, Generics, Multi-Threading, Spring Boot, Hibernate, iBatis, JMS, and Rest API.

Required Skills & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related; and,
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
• Designing innovative solutions for handling data intensive low latency application;
• Analyzing and visualizing the data using SQL and Tableau and extracting large volumes of data by creating ETL workflows;
• Assessing performance improvements, memory optimizations as well as performance profiling to identify bottlenecks and memory leaks of application;
• Performing technical and functional analysis using knowledge of credit, operational and market risk to design and implement the needs of the business users into a working software solution; and,
• Developing highly scalable and continuously available software application using Java, Spring, Generics, Multi-Threading, Spring Boot, Hibernate, iBatis, JMS, and Rest API.
• 10% domestic travel, as necessary.

Pay and benefits information
Jersey City pay range:
$205,000 - $228,100 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
