This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving commercial sales strategy, execution, and revenue growth across multiple regions in North America. You will lead a high-performing, distributed sales organization focused on new customer acquisition, account expansion, and long-term market penetration in competitive enterprise and mid-market segments. The role requires a strong blend of strategic vision and operational discipline, with accountability for forecasting accuracy, pipeline development, and quota achievement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, customer success, and sales engineering to align go-to-market efforts and accelerate growth. As a key executive leader, you will also build and maintain senior-level customer and partner relationships while guiding complex deal execution. Accountabilities
You will lead regional commercial sales performance and organizational development through strategic planning, leadership, and execution excellence, including:
- Defining and executing regional sales strategies and operating plans to achieve revenue targets across assigned territories.
- Leading, coaching, and developing geographically distributed sales teams, including Regional Sales Directors and Account Executives.
- Driving pipeline generation, forecasting accuracy, quota attainment, and disciplined sales execution across the organization.
- Establishing consultative selling frameworks, territory planning approaches, and account growth strategies.
- Building strong executive relationships with customers, prospects, and strategic partners to support long-term business growth.
- Supporting complex enterprise negotiations and ensuring successful closure of high-value opportunities.
- Partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product, customer success, and engineering teams to optimize go-to-market performance.
- Developing channel, alliance, and ecosystem partnerships to expand market reach and accelerate revenue growth.
- Monitoring market trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic planning and positioning.
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent while fostering a high-performance, accountable culture.
- Ensuring effective use of CRM systems and sales processes to maintain operational rigor and visibility.
- Overseeing regional budgets, forecasting, and executive reporting on performance and growth metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- 12+ years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in senior sales leadership roles managing regional or national teams.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales organizations in technology or software environments.
- Strong experience in driving new business acquisition, account expansion, and revenue growth in commercial and mid-market segments.
- Proven ability to lead geographically distributed teams across multiple territories.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and engage C-level stakeholders.
- Experience with channel sales, strategic partnerships, and indirect go-to-market models is highly valued.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen with disciplined forecasting and operational execution capabilities.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
- Competitive total compensation package ranging from $420,000 to $480,000 (base + variable pay).
