Responsibilities :
  • Develop and support data warehousing, alerting and regulatory applications for business users in the Equities and Wealth Management trading domains.
  • Partner with the business and analysts to translate regulatory requirements into technical design specifications, test cases and business process reengineering.
  • Debug, troubleshoot issues and provide responses in a timely fashion.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance team to ensure the application is properly tested and fix the issues on time for smooth production roll out.
  • Design and implement highly resilient and scalable regulatory reporting services leveraging microservices architecture that run in a distributed architecture both on-premises and cloud environment.
  • Work with DevOps and Support teams developing performance monitoring systems.
  • Design and develop a reliable distributed event processing system using open source real‐time Big Data technologies like Apache Storm, Apache Kafka stack.
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable, low latency, state of the art technology applications utilizing technologies such as Core Java, Ansible, Python and Web services.
  • Develop highly resilient regulatory reporting platform that can process billions of trading messages and generate regulatory reports with high accuracy rates.
  • Migrate microservices to cloud environment. Utilize Equities product and FINRA Consolidate Audit Trail (CAT) regulatory reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :
  • Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related; and
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
  • Must include 2 years of experience in each of the following:
  • Designing and developing a reliable distributed event processing system using open source real‐time Big Data technologies like Apache Storm, Apache Kafka stack;
  • Designing, developing and maintaining scalable, low latency, state of the art technology applications utilizing technologies such as Core Java, Ansible, Python and Web services;
  • Developing highly resilient regulatory reporting platform that can process billions of trading messages and generate regulatory reports with high accuracy rates;
  • Migrating microservices to cloud environment; and,
  • Utilizing Equities product and FINRA Consolidate Audit Trail (CAT) regulatory reporting requirements.

Pay and benefits information
New York City pay range:
$200,000 - $210,000 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
