Vice President - SpiderRock Operations and Support - Reporting to Chief Operating Officer

About this role

Seeking an energetic professional to work with US-based US Wealth Advisory. This role is a part of dynamic and rapidly evolving team responsible for data analytics, quantitative analysis and research, and scalable automated options trading.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison between COO's office and sales and marketing team, US Wealth Management COO office, client services teams, corporate finance and accounting units and legal and compliance
• Assist COO in planning and reporting function within in the business unit and BlackRock US Wealth Management team
• Oversight of client billing and collections process -- including the on-cycle and off-cycle periods.
• Manage the client due diligence process for new clients (preparation and delivery of written responses) and setting up calls and on-site visits with key stakeholders
• Maintenance of firm Due Diligence Questionnaire Template process with the BlackRock teams based in U.S. and offshore
• Manage the process for updating client contracts, fielding questions from prospects and clients
• Administration of custodian access for employees, ensuring appropriate level of authorization and security protocols.
• Interface with risk management function in recording and reporting client errors.

Key Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree
• 5 to 6 years of experience in management consulting/financial services
• Advanced degree/CFA a plus
• Excellent quantitative skills and communications skills (oral and written)
• Client facing skills and ability to partner with multiple internal groups
• Experience with complex data bases and Salesforce/Dynamix a plus
• Strong organizational and project management skills, ability to manage and meet deadlines
• Independent, self-motivated with an ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
• Ability to review and analyze information from multiple sources and determine relevancy.
• Independently identify issues, analyze problems and provide viable solutions
• Solid judgment/decision-making
