Job Description
Gallery Media Group is a rapidly growing digital media company whose mission is to “make positivity louder.” Its three key sectors include:Â
- Media + Publishing: PureWow, a women’s lifestyle brand; ONE37pm, a men’s lifestyle brand at the intersection of culture, music, NFTs and sports; and a collection of premium podcast shows that includes the GaryVee Audio Experience, Mom Brain, Card Talk, Royally Obsessed and The CMO Podcast with Jim Stengel.
- Social Portfolio: 50+ owned + operated accounts across TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest, including running TikTok accounts for brand partners
- Talent and Influencer Arm: Strategy and activations ranging from celebrity partnerships and stunts to year long ambassadorships and campaign work across platforms and categoriesÂ
Gallery Media Group is seeking a VP, Talent Relations for the NYC office. We are looking for a creative individual to oversee our talent relations and programming. The Senior Director of Talent Relations is tasked with building a talent rolodex for GMG. This individual must be in the know and ahead of the curve across pop culture, digital and traditional talent, and trending conversations while strategically knowing when and how to incorporate talent into GMG content, initiatives, and events. Talent needs to span all industries, including but not limited to: Young and Old Hollywood, Music Artists, Professional Athletes, C-Suite Executives, Hip Hop Artists, Entrepreneurs, Social Media Influencers, etc.
Essential duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Drive talent booking strategy, develop creative programming concepts, manage and track deliverables and oversee talent logistics (travel, itineraries, contracts, etc) across Gallery Media Group business units and partnership initiatives
- Play a key role in creative consultation with executives to ensure that talent matches the creative vision across Gallery Media Group.
- Understand the dynamic synergies amongst media, celebrities, and brands, and conceptualize strategic integrated partnerships around them.
- Assist as a brand and business ambassador helping to ensure talent becomes part of the fabric of their programs and promotional efforts.
- Maintain great relations thru consistent communication with existing talent base (ie. Podcast to Social Video Hosts).
- Collaborate across all content, marketing and communications efforts to establish best practices and innovate how Gallery Media Group works with talent and their representatives.
- Talent relations within our Podcast Division
- Work with production leads & talent bookers on coordinating the calendar of production for all podcasts, and scheduling of our host talent, plus scheduling of guest talent.
- Communicating with reps and management of guests re: booking and prepping for recordings on our pods.Â
- Follow up post recording for promo of episodes when it publishes. This would include working with our Growth team to deliver social assets we create for promo to drive traffic to the episode.
- Find opportunities for our hosts to be featured on similar media outlets (pods, sites, tv) for cross pollination of audiences and growth.
- Outreach for publicity and offer up our roster of hosts for cross promo.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Talent Landscape
- Tact, diplomacy, and discretion: You will be working across all teams and be privy to sensitive information.
- Kind, thoughtful, and low ego: We look for people who have these attributes, as we think they are key contributors to a great company culture.
- Incredibly curious: fast learner, motivated, resourceful.
- Extensive and long-standing relationships in the celebrity and talent management community;
- Proven track record of finding new/emerging talent and maintaining successful talent relationships particularly under challenging circumstances;
- Proven track record of demonstrating strong creative judgment, comfort working with creative executives, and the ability to recognize and help support high quality and innovative content;
- Capacity and willingness to become involved in diverse business needs including but not limited to writing a strategy and contract negotiations;
- Collaborate with teams across content/programming, marketing, social media, sponsors and the like.Â

- Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
- Base Salary $140-185k
