Our organization is comprised of about 2000+ employees across the globe supporting and improving our business-critical IT environment/ecosystem. Experian IT Services includes Infrastructure Services, Cyber & Information Security, and Enterprise Architecture. We drive growth through reusable technology providing quicker time to market for solutions, increased productivity, and a more secure environment.

Job Description

Experian Technology plays a critical role in the delivery of Experian’s strategic ambitions, providing cutting-edge technology solutions and capabilities which underpin the delivery of world-class products and services. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Technology and Information Security, you will be responsible for leadership and direction of the operational services critical to ensuring that Experian Technology is operating efficiently and effectively and delivers against its strategic goals.

You will work with an enterprise-wide geographically diverse stakeholder group to define and develop a comprehensive global performance framework, incorporating best-practice OKR (objectives and key results) principles and technology productivity metrics. Having developed these transformed management practices, you will implement the new framework and lead the output delivery to a senior stakeholder group in a regular cadence of C-suite level reporting and analysis.

Given the cross-functional and global nature of the role, you will deliver a diverse range of key cross-functional strategic initiatives on behalf of the Group President of Technology/CFO Technology, often acting as a “trouble-shooter” with superior ability to navigate uncertainties and deliver high-quality results. This role will lead both matrixed and directly managed teams, which will flex in size depending on priorities but is expected to be 10-20 FTEs.

What we are looking for:

  • You have outstanding leadership skills, the ability to create a vision, and proven experience influencing stakeholders at all levels in the organization
  • Communication is the key to success. You grasp concepts quickly and know how to make complex concepts easy to understand. You are also able to clearly communicate the vision of the Group President of Technology/CFO Technology to the wider organization
  • You have a proven ability to navigate complex environments to drive results. You collaborate with members across different teams, balancing sometimes conflicting priorities. You excel at bringing the right people to the table, tackling issues, and identifying opportunities. You are a negotiator who can navigate the strong opinions of others, discern what is most important, and confidently facilitate collaborative solutions
  • You develop a deep understanding of the business by seeing technology and information security through their perspective, speaking their language, and articulating the voice of our stakeholders to improve Experian’s technology solutions
  • You have a strong financial acumen and can deliver clear metrics to stakeholders within the organization
  • You have strong executive presence and have experience preparing Board materials and presenting to C-suite leaders.
  • You prioritize accountability and honesty, building trust with your team, teammates, and stakeholders by consistently delivering results

What you will be doing:

  • Design, develop and operationalize Experian’s technology development productivity framework. This framework will be used enterprise wide to optimize annual technology investment of $1bn+ per annum.
  • Design, develop and operationalize Experian Technology OKR framework, content, and reporting, evolving this into the key framework used across the enterprise to track progress and delivery against Experian’s highest value priorities and strategic technology goals
  • Lead and enhance production and delivery of Technology management reporting and analysis, including monthly enterprise technology reporting packs to be presented to the President of Technology, Group COO and Group CFO
  • Lead and enhance production and delivery of Technology Quarterly Performance Report (QPR), working with a distributed set of stakeholders/data providers to deliver high-quality content for discussion with the Group CEO, Group COO and Group CFO on a quarterly basis
  • Act as a proxy for the CFO Technology as needed to facilitate resolutions and progress towards goals
  • Operate in a “challenging business partner” role, acting as sparring partner with senior technology leaders to optimize strategy and results.
  • Facilitate prioritization of initiatives across Technology and search out creative solutions to problems
  • Continuously evaluate metrics and KPIs used to track and assess Technology performance and alignment to strategic goals

Qualifications

Required Education and/or Experience:
