Job Description
The Vice President of Transformation is responsible for leading the development and execution of the organization's long-term strategies. This position will lead a team of project managers and change agents to work across the business units and shared services to coordinate step-function improvements to connect members. - Develop an enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) to lead large cross-functional change programs.
- Set strategies and oversees operations of the organization's PMO.
- Lead a group a project management teams, typically cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams, to achieve project goals and requirements.
- Conceptualize project management processes and determine steps for implementation.
- Plan and manage resources to execute projects or project components from inception through implementation.
- Ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical functions.
- Direct the regular cadence of Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings, including coordinating content and follow ups.
- Lead the development of strategic presentation materials for the quarterly board of directors meetings.
- Align change management activities with the PMO project delivery.
- Coordinate internal communications with broader strategic deployment efforts.
- Overall responsibility for adherence to and setting standards for projects and tracking progress/results in conjunction with the senior leadership team, defines standard project performance metrics and expectations.
- Track project(s) performance and identifies areas for improvement or optimization.
- Responsible for transformational change, championing change management across the organization.
- May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Determine appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.
- Build an effective senior leadership team through mentoring and formal education that focuses on management and project management principles.
- Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
- Direct and mentor senior leaders on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.
- Direct and coach senior leaders on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.
- Accountable for strategic design, execution, and collective results along with others' successful contributions.
- Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
- Direct and influence change management initiatives to drive improvements and efficiencies cross functionally.
- Ability to direct and interact collaboratively and communicate effectively with external, internal customers, and stakeholders to address issues and ensure alignment across the organization to drive customer success.
- Prepare and manage budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance.
We are excited to speak to someone with the following:
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA Degree preferred.
- Eighteen (18) plus years experience. Knowledge of health care industry preferred.
- Ten (10) plus years leadership responsibility leading teams.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Demonstrated overall business leadership, strategic vision, and process know-how to lead the delivery of solutions.
- Strong strategic agility: ability to connect the dots between the strategies of different business units and communicate same.
- Exceptional customer focus with ability to run large enterprise-wide programs cross-functionally and operates across multiple discipline.
- Ability to consult executive teams on strategy and communicate the strategy to enable organization transformation or change.
- Ability to manage change management and/or internal communications.
- Ability to drive the business forward despite challenges and ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
- Ability to leverage written and verbal methodologies to simply and succinctly package a message for audiences at various levels of the organization.
- Ability to foster and build a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders.
- Business-minded person who can work collaboratively and has proven experience in influence across business units and managing project teams to drive change.
- High level of business analytics with deep analytical capabilities using data to make arguments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office packages.
- Leadership skills. Problem/situation analysis. Strategic thinking skills. Computer skills. Accounting skills.
- Occasional business travel may be required.
Salary: $202,300 - 283,200
