Video and Animation Intern

Overview

This internship will be working on site in Peoria, IL at the JUMP Trading Simulation and Education Center. This internship will require the student to work full time hours (Monday-Friday). The student will start in the internship end of May 2023 and work until end of July 2023 or beginning of August 2023.

Starting pay for this position is $17.00/hour

POSITION SUMMARY: The Video & Animation Intern is responsible for production of visuals including video, animation, and interactive media. Providing expertise in production artistry, this role will support Jump Simulation and OSF HealthCare in the development of concepts and assets for education projects.

• Visualize, create, and implement animation and interactive materials in support of medical education initiatives.
• Transports, sets up, and operates various production equipment including a 360 camera, audio and video recorders, and lighting equipment for location and studio production, editing video materials in post-production using contemporary techniques.
• Works within the Adobe Creative Suite or similar applications, expanding to other applications as required.
• Communicates professionally with project clients, working to develop creative solutions, openly embracing feedback, and engaging subject-matter expertise where appropriate.
• Routinely utilizes the project management system seeking production directives, collaborating with peers, and documenting progress on projects.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Current student attending college or university at a Junior or Senior level working towards a Bachelors Degree.

Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with various individuals throughout OSF Healthcare. Ability to multi-task, coordinate multiple projects, and have proven attention to detail.
