About:

Dream for America is a Gen Z-led 501(c)4 non-profit founded on July 4, 2023, focused on identifying, educating, and mobilizing America's students to promote the principles of freedom, democracy, & progressive government. Together, we'll mobilize a new generation of democracy defenders to take on far-right youth groups like Turning Point USA.

Job Description:

Dream for America is looking for on-camera video creators to make videos that promote civil rights, liberal democracy, and progressive values.

Content: We're mainly interested in two types of videos:

• Explainer videos that educate our audience about important issues. That might mean breaking down a developing news story, helping people understand an important policy or act of corporate wrongdoing, or analyzing some topic in the discourse through an economic justice lens. We're looking for videos that empower people with facts, context, or insights.
• Unserious videos that are focused on being engaging, funny, and even satirical content. This style would focus on trending video formats, greenscreens, and more. 

Formats: We're mainly interested in vertical videos where you're talking to the camera. But we're also eager to hear from creators who usually create longer videos better suited to platforms like YouTube, and creators who don't typically appear on camera but rely more on graphics, voiceover, etc. 

Who: We're looking for a diverse group of contributors from around the country with a broad array of identities, ages, and backgrounds.
