Video Editor

Job Summary 

We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, editing, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with our brand identity and marketing objectives. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and proficiency in video editing software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and engaging video content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, and presentations.
• Content Conceptualization: Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and plan video content that effectively communicates the brand message and resonates with the target audience.
• Event Coverage: Photography and videography of events, VIP visits and other awesome events.
• Storytelling: Collaborate with teams to understand and translate their messages into engaging and visually appealing video narratives.
• Equipment Management: Operate and maintain video production equipment, ensuring all gear is in optimal condition for shoots.
• Post-Production: Edit and finalize video content using industry-standard software, adding graphics, music, and other elements to enhance overall quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, copywriters, and marketing strategists, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video editing to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our video content.

Requirements:

• Good understanding of composition, framing, and visual aesthetics
• Proficiency in video editing and camera handling
• Proficiency in operating video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices
• Ability to quickly set up for shooting and executing video work in the field
• Knowledge of animation and graphic design
• Must have a good command on one of the following: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve.
• Some level of expertise of After Effects for animations.
• Some level of expertise of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality video standards

Experience:

Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience of creating exciting content.
