Job Description:

Education:

• 4 year degree in liberal arts with an emphasis in film or photography

Work Experiences:

• 5+ years of experience editing commercial video content

Skills:

• Must be an expert in all aspects of post production. Motion graphics experience preferred.
• Advanced understanding of software and hardware required for editing and post production.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Solid analytical skills with an ability to manage several project types and stakeholders, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume, fast-paced environment
• Provide superior customer service, demonstrating sound logic and judgment

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into compelling narratives that bring the brand to life.
• Partner with in-house producers and the content team to provide a narrative point of view on all video-related content creation and drive brand visual consistency through the video medium.
• Collaborate with the production and content marketing team before shoots to review boards and shooting scripts and help drive shot list to ensure all needs are captured on set.
• Establish a point of view with each edit that can simultaneously build the brand over time and drive traffic over night.
• Create visual standards and templates for all brand video work across channels.
• Continually look for opportunities to drive efficiencies through both the pre-production shot list and the post production editing process.
• Utilize marketing briefs, data and insights to craft on target creative that drives sales
• Present and sell work to stakeholders and provide solutions to feedback
• Required to learn company policies, procedures and safety rules
• Duties may change and associates may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Attendance:

• Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
• Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
• Regular attendance required
• Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
• Up to 5% travel required
