Video Editor

Remote position (Only for candidates from Argentina or Uruguay)

Working schedule: Pacific Time Zone (PT)

RYZ is looking for a Video Editor to join one of our client's teams. This role is pivotal in creating compelling video content that captivates, engages, and informs the audience. As a Video Editor, you will be instrumental in bringing our client's vision to life through high-quality video and photo content.

Basic Qualifications: 

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

- Solid understanding of video production processes, including video codecs, formats, and compression techniques.

- Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading is highly desirable.

- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives through editing techniques.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- A passion for video editing, visual storytelling, and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications: 

- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring a high standard of quality, clarity, and visual impact.

- Enhance videos by incorporating music, sound effects, graphics, and visual effects, ensuring seamless integration and smooth transitions.

- Ensure consistency of style, branding, and messaging throughout all video content.

- Review and provide feedback on scripts, storyboards, and shot lists to ensure effective storytelling and adherence to project goals.

- Utilize advanced video editing software and tools to achieve desired effects and optimize video content for various platforms and formats.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects, and incorporate innovative ideas into projects.

- Manage and organize video assets, maintaining a well-structured and easily accessible library for future use.

- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
