The Role

The Training and Docs Team provides learning resources that help prepare customers and partners to use the Amperity platform. The Amperity Learning Lab is an always-available learning portal where learners can watch recorded training content. The Contract Video Editor will assist the Training and Docs Team with the creation of this content.
The Contract Video Editor will work with the Lead Curriculum Developer to take raw training footage recorded by subject matter experts and turn it into practical and easy-to-understand training content. The Contract Video Editor position is a part-time project-based role. 

Interesting Problems

• Manage and prioritize a development pipeline of video-based training content
• Mix raw footage with other design assets to create content that is approachable for all learners
• Help to improve the existing content development processes by observing and providing feedback 
• Deliver content that is tailored to the needs of different audiences

About You

• Minimum one year of experience in a video editing or motion graphics role
• Have a portfolio or reel of content you’ve edited ready to share
• Have experience managing multiple projects with different deadlines
• Can work independently
• Must have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
• Able to meet reasonable deadlines based on the volume of work

Compensation

• $40-$50/hour
