Job Summary
This position is a key member of our Aerospace Video Production Center and is responsible for producing engaging and dynamic video content from creative concept through production, post-production, approval and delivery. Our ideal candidate will bring a fresh, creative approach to each assignment combined with demonstrated technical production skills; thrive on team collaboration; produce dynamic and visually compelling videos that support the corporate vision and implement studio best practices.
Work Model
Hybrid -- This position requires approximately 50% onsite work and is located in El Segundo, California.
What You'll Be Doing
- Produces engaging video content for customers from creative concept through delivery.
- Supervises and directs professional production crews and on-camera talent.
- Manages, maintains, and operates company's video production assets.
- Operates professional video cameras and other equipment for live and taped video productions.
- Edits video and audio with high-end non-linear editing systems.
- Encodes and duplicates projects for internal and external customers.
- Schedules production crews, talent, executives, and technicians.
- Collaborates with customers to determine goals of the production, conducts research, develops scripts, schedules production activity, and coordinates set production.
- Assures production schedule is maintained.
- Maintains computers, peripherals, and post-production editing systems.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant technical training
- Specialist III Level - five or more years of relevant experience
- Specialist IV Level - ten or more years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated expertise with professional cameras and editing systems
- Experience working with the principles, practices, techniques, technology, and standards of video production and shot composition
- Experience in incorporating video, audio, titles, and graphics into presentations
- Experience using graphic design and/or titling programs
- Ability to edit using professional linear and non-linear editing systems in both long and short form videos (AVID and Premiere preferred.)
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and projects at one time
- Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Lifting of production/ lighting/ grip equipment required
- Occasional travel may be required
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the US government. U.S citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.

- Demonstrated experience of professional corporate, commercial or entertainment video production.
- Basic understanding of aeronautics and space science
- Prior experience working with aerospace/defense industry clients
- Prior experience working with corporate clients
- Strong portfolio
