Role Mission:
The LeagueApps marketing team is seeking a talented and creative video producer to join our team. This position will be responsible for conceptualizing, capturing, and editing high-quality video content that aligns with our company's vision and brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a passion for storytelling through video. Experience with animation and motion graphics is a huge plus. This is a hands-on role that requires full ownership of all stages of video production, as well as a desire to develop and scale the process from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the creative, sales and customer success teams to develop concepts, storyboards, and shot lists for various video projects.
- Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices, to ensure optimal quality of footage.
- Capture high-quality video footage, ensuring proper framing, focus, and exposure.
- Edit raw footage, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and alignment with the desired narrative.
- Enhance videos with motion graphics, visual effects, and animations to create captivating and engaging visuals.
- Ensure video projects are delivered on time and within budget, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maintain a comprehensive video library, organizing and archiving footage for future use.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for video shoots, including lighting, audio, and props.
- Travel to various locations as required for on-site video production (up to 40%).
Who You Are:
- Proven work experience (5+ years) as a videographer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous video projects. Familiarity capturing sporting events is a must.
- Proficient in operating a variety of video equipment, including cameras, tripods, lighting, and audio devices.
- Expertise in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and similar tools.
- Solid understanding of composition, lighting, and sound principles to create visually appealing and engaging videos.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to deliver high-quality video content within tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address challenges during video production.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- A passion for videography and storytelling through video, with a desire to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel to different locations for on-site video shoots.
- Familiarity with video SEO techniques and social media platforms for video distribution.
- Knowledge of color grading and color correction techniques.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $70,000-$106,250

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at LeagueApps. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal pay parity relative to other LeagueApps employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at LeagueApps to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
