Video Programming Showrunner/Producer - Vice President

iCapital is looking for an experienced live news/show producer to manage video productions (live streaming and live-to-tape recording) from start to finish. This role will oversee both editorial content and how that content is produced and presented to the public. As a producer, the ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and studio crew, and will supervise the overall output and flow of distribution. Ultimately, this person should be able to ensure programs are executed cleanly, are relevant, and meet audience preferences. 

• Able to script, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects. 
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, to establish project deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with internal SMEs and stakeholders to facilitate the creation of branded multimedia content and programming.
• Develop show run downs and production schedules with the Vice President of Multimedia Solutions team.
• Direct and coach on-camera talent.
• Book in-studio guests and guests for remote feeds.
• Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure show rundowns and content outlines are ready for filming, broadcast, and public distribution.
• Select relevant b-roll footage, sound bites, and graphics for use during broadcasts.
• Coordinate with directors, camera operators, and audio to ensure all technical aspects of filming are set up properly.
• Coordinate with business partners to plan, develop, and schedule content programming, and show rundowns for upcoming broadcasts and recordings.
• Review audio and video recordings to ensure they meet production standards.
• Direct and produce live streaming broadcasts.
• Evaluate viewership performance analytics.

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, mass communications, or relevant field
• 10+ years of work experience as a live news/show producer in a studio and control room setting
• Familiarity with camera operation, sound systems, and music editing.
• Proven experience with digital video production technology
• In-depth understanding of the video production process
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Able to proofread scripts and edit pieces
• Able to perform efficiently under pressure

The base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $150,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. We offer most employees the flexibility to work in the office three to four days and remotely for the remainder of the week.  Every department has different needs, and some positions will be designated in-office jobs, based on their function.
