PRIMARY PURPOSE:

It is the primary responsibility of the Villa Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned areas to ensure overall cleanliness of the villas and associated areas. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

THE JOB:

  • Supervises villa/loft staff assigned floors and ensures all rooms and hallways and associated areas are cleaned to Company standards.
  • Creates a good work environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction and properly utilizes performance feedback, recognition, training, and adherence to company policies, and legal requirements.
  • Supervises villa staff to ensure they are alert to all their duties and adhere to Company and villa policies and procedures.
  • Inspects the required number of lofts on a daily basis to ensure that Loft staff are conforming to the sanitation requirements of health laws and standards set by the Company.
  • Maintains records including repairs needed, lost and found items, and quality of work completed by employees.
  • Instructs employees on the products used for cleaning in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) chemical Right to Know standards.
  • Submits the required number of hallway evaluations to management.
  • Reports all work orders to status and any follow-up required.
  • Utilizes proper procedures for entering/cleaning a guest' villa.
  • Resolves guest complaints in a timely manner.
  • Completes daily worksheets and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Issues and retrieves all master keys, cellphones, and two-way radios at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Assist in projects assigned by the Asst Housekeeping Manager.
  • Meet productivity standards for your position ensuring staff completes the amount of credits required.

A GREAT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • One (1) year of excellent guest service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting
  • Two (2) years of experience in a housekeeping department
