Virtual Intensive German Instructor

LTC Language Solutions is urgently seeking an Intensive German language instructor for one student. Please find the details of the program below:

• Language Class: German training for one ILR Level 2+- 3 adult government student
• Location: Virtual in Eastern time
• Schedule: 3 days a week, preferably Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 5.5 hours of class per day, a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, plus homework for one student at 9 am or 10 am.
• Dates: December 2024
• Duration: up to 200 hours
• Requirements: The instructor must be authorized to work in the US, a native speaker of German with 5+ years of German teaching experience at the university level or previous government teaching experience, and have a master’s degree or PhD. 
• Compensation: Negotiable depending on experience.
• Curriculum: To be designed by the instructor. Textbooks can be provided to instructor and student. Instructor expected to supplement with authentic materials and activities.

As an independent contractor instructor, you will not be an employee of LTC. Rather you will function as a vendor, providing language training services on an IRS Form 1099 basis. No relocation services are offered.
