We have a current opportunity for a Virtual Platform Administrator to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages and maintains complex software systems.
• Performs application software implementations and upgrades.
• Ensures high availability, security and integrity of assigned applications.
• Monitors applications, including setting alerts to maintain the stability of the environment and application, monitoring error logs, and automating administration tasks wherever possible.
• Installs application patches and releases on development, test, pre-production, and production systems.
• Serves as key person in troubleshooting system problems.
• Creates and maintains accurate system documentation for assigned systems.
• Maintains current descriptions and documentation of application and system configurations, including tracking and documenting any changes to environments.
• Assists in capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning on assigned systems.
• Participates in disaster recovery planning, including assisting with fault tolerance and disaster recovery plans.
• Analyzes performance trends to optimize application performance.

Virtual Platform Administrator may also serve in the role of TOPM if requirements are met for both positions 
Minimum Experience:

• US Citizenship is Mandatory.
• Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive
• Clearance: Top Secret OR Secret with Top Secret Clearance investigation completed.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II (Security+ CE or higher)
• Must possess one of the following Computing Environment Certifications:
  
  • VMware VCP, VCAP, VCP5-DCV, VCDX5, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional, AWS Certified Security-Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate 

Travel Details: 6 trips to Tracy CA roundtrip for 5 days each trip
